Following the Deben Vintage & Makers market at Suffolk Food Hall I wanted to share a few photographs of my stall from the day.
After watching the weather report with trepidation all week I am pleased to say that the rain held off and it was a beautiful sunny day. Perfect for enjoying the amazing view across the Orwell River with a few cows thrown in for good measure!
This was Batteson Studio’s very first stall at an event and it was such a fantastic way to meet people and talk about creating sustainable homes. The feedback was really positive and it is great to see that so many people are really connecting with this idea of sustainable interior design and how achievable this is in our homes.
As well as having staged a room for the show I had design concepts and sample boards on display to showcase what would be included in a Colour Consultation.
I was also incredibly proud to win Deben events very first ‘Best in Show’ for my stand which made the day extra special.
If you are Suffolk based and haven’t been to the market before it is well worth a visit and there are some really lovely pieces from local vintage sellers as well as lots of great makers. I am a strong believer in supporting small and local businesses and this is such an easy and enjoyable way to do so.
If you didn’t make the last event the next will be held at Elmhurst Park in Woodbridge on Sunday 10th July. Follow @debenevents for the latest updates.
