As a practicing interior designer and textile/mixed media artist, I work  between the tactile world of interiors and the more abstract language of line, texture and form in my artwork.

Through mark making, collage, paint and stitch, I create layered, abstract, textural compositions that explore imperfection, materiality and the quiet beauty of fragmented forms.

Whether I’m designing a space or building up layers in a composition, my process is much the same, intuitive, responsive and rooted in a sensitivity to materials. Both disciplines feed one another and are part of the same story: one that celebrates emotion, atmosphere and the beauty of things left ever so slightly undone.
